Hello, Maya. I am a fellow Foodista Best of Foodblogs Cookbook contributor. I spent the past 2 years creating my Trufflehead app for iPhone and iPad, which launched last summer. It has been featured last month on Apple’s New&Noteworthy, Top 25 Lifestyle, and What’s Hot iPhone app lists. You can read about it here http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/trufflehead/id450174950?mt=8 .
Based on my Trufflehead experience, I am building a software platform ("Mobile Skillet") that will produce recipe apps more efficiently and cost-effectively than ever before. Instead of costing $50,000 to $100,000, a Mobile Skillet app will probably run $5,000 to $15,000. (I'm still working out the exact numbers.)
If you have ever thought about producing your own cooking/recipe app and would like to be on the mailing list for Mobile Skillet updates, please let me know.
Best wishes, Deborah www.aDoctorsKitchen.com www.trufflehead.com
